Abstracts should focus on one of the 9 conference topics. Texts, containing 400 words maximum, must be written in English, using simple and clear sentences. The abstract should consist of four paragraphs labelled: Objective. Methods, Results, Conclusions. Abstracts should not contain figures (pictures, tables, charts etc.). Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts in the original form as submitted by authors. The Abstract Book will be distributed together with the Final Programme to all Conference participants upon on-site registration in Ljubljana.
Authors must register and submit the abstracts electronically via the online Speakers Registration and Abstract Submission Form, where detailed submission guidelines can be found. An acknowledgement of receipt of your submission will be sent to your e-mail address after the completed submission, together with your login name and password, which will enable to edit or change your abstract, by the submission deadline. If you do not receive the confirmation, your submission was incomplete and needs to be re-submitted.
Abstracts will be accepted for publication in the Final Programme and Book of Abstracts only from presenting authors who have registered and paid the Registration Fee by April 15, 2008, at the latest.
Oral presentations are limited to 7 minutes plus 3 minutes for discussion.
We advise you to deliver your presentation and check computer presentation preferably in the morning of the day your talk is scheduled, but not later than 2 hours in advance before the beginning of the session or the previous afternoon for the morning sessions.
Posters (light cardboard or paper) must be brought to the Conference by the presenting author and should not be mailed in advance. Poster boards have an available space of 0,95 m width and 2,00 m height. Double sided tape should be used.
